What happens if the weather is bad on my shoot date?
We monitor conditions 72 hours out. If wind, rain, or poor visibility would compromise safety or footage quality, we'll proactively reach out and reschedule at no charge. Deposits are fully refundable on weather holds — we'd rather move the date than deliver a gray, wind-shaken video.
Do prices include editing, or just the flight?
Everything listed on this page includes editing, color grading, licensed music where applicable, and delivery. We don't sell raw-clips-only packages at a discount because unedited footage rarely serves you well — though raw files are included with Brand Spot and available as an add-on elsewhere.
Can you fly near an airport or in a city?
Usually, yes. We hold FAA Part 107 certification and use LAANC to get authorization in controlled airspace, often instantly. Some locations require advance waivers, so if your property sits near an airport, book a week or two ahead and we'll handle the paperwork.
How do deposits and payment work?
A 30% deposit secures your date, with the balance due on delivery. Construction progress schedules are invoiced per visit with net-15 terms. We accept card, ACH, and checks from commercial clients. Weather-hold reschedules never forfeit your deposit.
My project doesn't fit any of these tiers. Now what?
That's what the inquiry form is for. Documentaries, search grids, proposal reveals, multi-property portfolios — roughly a third of our work is custom-scoped. Tell us the goal and the location, and we'll send back a flight plan and a firm quote within one business day.
Who owns the footage after delivery?
You receive a full commercial usage license for all deliverables — use them in listings, ads, social media, and print without restriction. Skyline retains the right to feature select clips in our portfolio unless you request otherwise (common for private residences, always honored).
